The Amphion Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the first round of 2025 Elliott Carter Special Grant recipients. The Elliott Carter Special Grant Program was established in 2019 to support significant projects devoted to the music of Elliott Carter. Applications for the program are accepted on a near-ongoing basis and are reviewed twice annually in the spring and fall. The five awarded projects for this round feature substantial activity involving the music of Elliott Carter at an exceptional level and include both live performances and recordings.
Arcana New Music Ensemble, Solo and Chamber Music of Elliott Carter
An all-Carter program featuring works for piano, clarinet, flute, cello, and percussion.
Collide-O-Scope Music, Spotlight on Elliott Carter
A chamber music concert focused on the music of Elliott Carter with works by Eleonor Sandresky and John Link.
Da Capo Chamber Players, 2025-26: A Focus on Elliott Carter
Concert programming, commercial recordings, and educational programs during the 2025-2026 season featuring the music of Elliott Carter.
Concours international de piano d'Orléans, 2026 Elliott Carter Prize
A special prize offered at the 17th International Piano Competition of Orléans to a pianist for their performance(s) of select piano works by Elliott Carter during the competition.
The San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, Mosaic West Coast Premiere
The West Coast premiere of Mosaic at the Taube Atrium Theater in March 2026.
